Hector Dolphins
Today for our blog challenge we had to choose an a endangered animal and find facts about the animal that we choose and find information about why they are endangered. This is what I did. The reason why I choose Hector dolphin's is because I love dolphins and they are amazing. Also I thought that no one would choose them too. I loved doing this blog challenge and it was really fun.
My Family holiday
It was the school holidays and my parents decided that we needed a break so they booked us a holiday skiing up the mountain. After the long road trip getting there desperately, I hopped out of the car and sprinted around enjoying the freshly, cold, bitter air. After a few hours we had settled in and we were heading out side to feel the snow for the first time. Laughing with my family, my lips were turning blue. It was awesome! They next week was just full of skiing and spending quality time with my family.

Kowhai planting
The other day my class and I planted Kowhai seeds I had a lot of fun learning about how to plant a seed. These are the steps we took to plant them.
This is me doing the planting |
- The first thing that we did was get all of the equipment which was: A cup, Water, mixing stick, seed, soil pod, seed pot, sand paper.
This is some of the equipment
that we needed. - Secondly we Sanded the seed because we had to roughen up the seed to let water in.
- Thirdly we put 50ml of water in the cup and then put the soil pod in the water. We had to use the mixing stick and try and break up the soil pod so that the soil pod would turn into soil.
- After a long time of mixing we finally had soil in the cup.
- Then we had to put some of the soil in the seed pot.
- Next we had to make a little hole, put the seed in then cover it up with the rest of the soil in the cup.
- After that we put the cup of the seed pot.
- Now it is time to wait and see if the kowhai plant grows.
- Once they grow 8cm tall we have to plant them outside somewhere in the school.

Nature Bingo
Today we had to go around outside and find some certain things in nature. I did it in a group with Harriet and Jordan. They were great partners. It was a very fun activity and I hope we can do it again.

10 -ing start sentences
10 -ing start sentences. For this lesson we had to do 10 -ing start sentences. I actually found it quite interesting and fun.
- Running the cross country with my best friend, I tripped and fell flat on my face.
- Eating dinner with my family, my brother had no table manners.
- Looking at Harriet, I notice she has a new top on.
- Feeling sad, I started crying.
- siting in my classroom, it was really hot.
- Laughing at my brother, when he broke his leg. (P.s I didn't actually do that)
- Thinking about my dream car, I hope it happens.
- Annoying my mum, I am really good at that.
- Finding my shoes, they are very smelly.
- Walking with my friend to school, what hard work.
